Dilapidation Survey

We have recently completed a dilapidation survey for FGS, (Facade and Glazing Solutions), a specialist glazing contractor experienced in the manufacture, installation, refurbishment and repair of building facades.

The company has sizeable office and factory accommodation in Rotherham and sought assurance that they were managing their obligations under their lease.
Following a desktop review of the lease to identify these obligations, an in-depth survey of the buildings condition was undertaken. Following the survey, a fully costed dilapidations schedule was prepared and submitted. The schedule allowed the FGS to adequality budget for future liabilities.
Dilapidations can be sizeable and we would encourage leaseholders to regularly review their position and make appropriate provisions.
